RAM
A new class of Resistive RAMs (MRAM, ReRAM) are on the verge of disrupting the semiconductor industry by enabling cost effective integration of non-volatile memory and, over time, a lower cost and lower power alternative to SRAM. These new memory types use a standard process for base layers and as such can scale down to lower geometries while Flash stops at 28nm.
Chip
The team at Numem have worked on these new memory types for the last 10 years and have taped out multiple chips. Numem leverages its patented technology to provide best in class power, area and performance and perhaps more importantly, product manufacturing robustness.

Benefits Over SRAM

Over SRAM, they offer a much smaller size/cost with 2/3 reduction in size and much lower standby power with zero leakage current for the memory core.
